Petites Étoiles Atelier is a Huntsville character-design academy built to help artists strengthen their skills, develop original ideas, and create characters that feel distinctly their own.
Character design is more than drawing a character.
It's learning how shape, expression, anatomy, movement, costume, props, color, and visual storytelling work together to communicate who that character is.
Petites Étoiles Atelier was created to give developing artists a place to study those skills intentionally while still making work that feels imaginative, personal, and fun.

Students aren't taught to reproduce one house style. Lessons focus on transferable drawing and design principles that can be applied across cartoons, comics, anime-inspired work, stylized illustration, and other approaches.
The goal isn't for every artist to leave drawing the same way. It's for each artist to have more tools for making their own ideas work.
The artwork is made by an artist, not generated by AI.
Every character, illustration, and lesson at Petites Étoiles Atelier is created by hand through years of drawing practice and artistic development. Generative AI is not used to create the artwork presented as part of the Atelier.
Everyday technology may be used behind the scenes for the administrative side of running a small business, but the artwork and artistic instruction remain human-made.

Programs are designed for different ages, experience levels, and ways of learning—from sequential academies that build skills week by week to camps, workshops, and playful character-design experiences.
